An amazing week for Jasmin, dance show week at the Montgomery Theatre - The Wizard of Oz has finally arrived.
The children have worked so hard. Lots of dress rehearsals, and dance practice throughout the year. It will be lovely seeing it all come together. The costumes are just gorgeous!!!
Lots of tired but happy children after night one. Everybody pulling together to make sure the show works brilliantly. Lots of excited children talking and laughing back stage. Also, it was lovely to start to get to know the children and their parents.
Day two: Jasmin, unfortunately, has been ill so can’t dance, sending cyber hugs and wishes to all those amazing dancers.
Day three: A great buzz back stage, all the children know the places and order to stand in to go on stage how fab!
Day four: Lots of tired children, amazing feedback from the show. Lovely to hear the audience, cheering and clapping. I can’t wait to watch.
Day Five: We are watching!!!! Wow, just to see all the dancers, the work all come together is fantastic. From the tiny three year old muppets to the mums who are dancing, truly inspiring.! The choreography was brilliant. We are one big, happy dance family and one very proud mum.
Quite sad to think the show has finished now after it has been such a big part of Jasmin’s life this year. Here’s to the next show in 2015….
